we will do this by

Working at a strategic leadership level to:

  • Communicate the results and insights from engagement with whānau and hapū in Te Ranga Tupua about local health needs to Te Whatu Ora (Health New Zealand) and the wider health system;

  • Evaluate the current state of hauora Māori in Te Ranga Tupua for the purpose of determining priorities for improving hauora Māori;

  • Engage with Te Whatu Ora to ensure Hauora Māori investment is prioritised for kaupapa Māori and innovation;

  • Report on activities to whānau and hapori Māori within Te Ranga Tupua

COMMUNITY HEALTH PLAN

  • Our ambitous plan was launched on 1 December 2024

  • It's centred around our whānau, hapū, iwi and community

  • Everyone in the sector has a role to play in its success

  • It's the first iteration of many

  • We are engaging with the sector and our own whānau to understand the community health plan.
